About the Event

Attention all primary school teachers and homeschooling parents! Libraries NI, in partnership with Armstrong Storytelling Trust, presents The Big Storytime. This interactive online experience is being held during Good Relations Week 2024 and is specially designed for primary schools and homeschooling parents in Northern Ireland. Join us on Wednesday 18 September at 10:30am for a live online storytelling event, led by the talented Japanese-born storyteller, Masako Carey. Dressed in full traditional costume, Masako will transport children aged 7-11 into a world of wonder for 45 enchanting minutes. After the story, there will be a chance for pupils to ask questions and engage directly with Masako. Prepare your classes, check your internet connection, and get ready for this fantastic FREE opportunity! You won’t want to miss out on this unique cultural experience! Spaces are limited, so be sure to reserve a spot for your class by registering on Zoom before Tuesday 17 September! Let’s celebrate Good Relations Week together with the joy of storytelling!
